Let us introduce ourselves.

We are Vicki and Glenn Bryant from Lake Macquarie, NSW. In 2018 we resigned from our jobs — Glenn at 55, Vicki at 49 — to travel Australia full time. We planned a gap year. We are still going.

We travel in a Ford Ranger PX3 towing a Kokoda caravan. We still own our home, which our adult sons rent and look after. We travel as tourists, rarely staying more than a week in one place, working only a little and occasionally redrawing on the home loan when funds run low.

We are average to look at, in our 50s, and that is rather the point — we are not the young influencer types. We just love this country and want to show it as it really is.

Our mental health has never been better. If sharing our travels inspires even a few people to do the same, we are thrilled.
